The Destination
Lamu is the oldest living Swahili town in Kenya and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, founded in the twelfth century. Lose yourself in narrow coral stone streets and hand carved doors, browse the fish and produce markets, and visit Lamu Fort and the town museum.
There are no cars here, only donkeys and dhows, a short ride across the channel from your terrace.
